Softphone not responding to 407 requests after a BYE message

Issue: Symptoms experienced will show that when a call is made from the Core and a hangup is made from the Core, the call will not disconnect. If the call is disconnected from the far end then it will disconnect properly. Sending a BYE message results in the system sending a 407 request, which the Softphone does not respond to.

Workaround: Hanging up from the Softphone or far end caller works, but not from the Core.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.9.0. This does not affect the LTS (9.4.x) branch.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

QIO, NL, and NM Series products: Error showing “LAN A Connection Failure” after updating to v9.10.0

Issue: QIO, NL, and NM Series devices show green in Configurator but display the error “LAN A Connection Failure” on the status of the devices and the inventory in QDS.

Workaround: Reboot the Core to fix the issue.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.10.0

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

QIO, NL, and NM Series products: Unable to save hostname that ends in a hyphen (-)

Issue: A hostname that ends with a hyphen (-) is invalid. If the hostname is longer than 32 characters, truncation will occur which can result in the hostname ending in a hyphen.

Workaround: None.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.6 and 9.4.3 LTS Branch

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

Amplifiers

Inaccurate Input Pin count with Designs using PL-LA8 or PL-LA12

Issue: When adding PL-LA8 or PL-LA12 components to a new design and editing the number of segments, the number of input pins does not increase correspondingly as expected.

Workaround:  None. This will be resolved in an upcoming release.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.10.0. This does not affect the 9.4.x LTS branches.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

Loss of second channel configuration bank in any CX-Q amplifier after changing model from any DPA amplifier

Issue: When transitioning designs from any DPA amplifier to any CX-Q amplifier using Properties, the second channel becomes inaccessible, leading to unconfigurable E-H settings.

Workaround: Add CX-Q amplifier directly instead of changing the model through Properties. This will be resolved in a future release.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.9.0 and 9.4.5 LTS Branch.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

Video Peripherals and Components

NV-32-H

Decoders stuck on fault - “Fault-Not Receiving video from <encoder name>”

Issue: NV-32 H in Decoder mode may encounter a fault and display “Fault- Not Receiving video from <encoder name>” on the HDMI output of the decoder. The NV-32-H Decoder could be experiencing an issue with the software running on the NV-32-H Decoder.

Workaround: Upgrade to Q-SYS version 9.10 will improve upon this issue. With QDS v9.10.0, switching AV streams, away from and back to the original AV source should clear the fault and bring back active video.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.9.0. This does not affect the LTS (9.4.x) branch.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.1, which affects all versions in the LTS branch.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

HDMI output stops working after switching HDMI I/O Device Type: Encoder to/from Decoder

Issue: If you change the HDMI I/O component Device Type property from Encoder to Decoder or vice versa and then redeploy the design, HDMI output may stop working.

Workaround: In rare cases, the affected NV-32-H unit may require a power cycle after changing Encoder / Decoder modes. Unplug the NV-32-H from power for a few seconds and then plug it back in.

Earliest Reported Version: 8.2, which includes all versions of the LTS Branch.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

USB-C Audio Requires USB Soundcard

Issue: When a Generic AV Source is connected to the NV-21-HU’s USB-C input, the Audio Channels are set to zero and grayed out. The USB-C input does not support audio via the DisplayPort alt-mode path.

Workaround: To enable audio via USB-C, a USB Soundcard must be added to the design. This requires activation of a Q-SYS AV Bridging License. For more information on the workaround, visit Routing Audio Using USB Audio Bridging or see example design below.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.8.1

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

USB Audio Bridge recognition with multiple USB Bridges and Windows PC swapping

Issue: When having multiple USB Bridges with the same USB Bridge name and swapping a Windows PC between the two Bridges, the USB Audio Bridge may only show up in the PC if you reseat the USB cable multiple times.

Workaround: Two workarounds are available. Test #1 before #2.

  1. Select all components within a design and delete them. You will now have a blank design. Undo the delete with a Ctrl + Z keyboard shortcut and bring back everything into the design. Re-push the design and it should be resolved.
  2. Set all USB Bridge names to be unique. This will require disabling Zoom compatibility if enabled.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.8.0. This issue does not affect the LTS branch.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.

Camera Status Block cannot be added or removed from a Container

Issue: When a Camera is added to a design, moving it into a Container from another part of a design returns it to the Inventory. If it is placed directly into a Container and removed from the Container, it also returns to the Inventory.

Error: “Failed to get firmware value for key firmware_hash”

Issue: When attempting to downgrade a Core to a version prior to v9.1.x, you see the aforementioned error message.

Workaround: This error means that the Core is expecting signed firmware (introduced in v9.1.x) but the firmware you are attempting to upload (v9.0.1 or earlier) is unsigned. To downgrade the Core, you must toggle the Allow Legacy Unsigned Firmware (v9.0.1 or lower) option in Core Manager:

  1. Log in to Q-SYS Core Manager.

Enterprise Manager '+ Add Core' button disabled on Sites > Systems page

Issue: When attempting to add another Core to a Site, such as when adding the second of two Cores in a redundant pair System, the + Add Core button is grayed out.

Workaround: None. Currently, the maximum number of Cores that can be registered to your Organization equals the number of System licenses enabled on the Organization, regardless of whether a System is redundant. This will be fixed in a future update. Note that the Subscription Details table on the Organizations page correctly shows the number of connected Systems and does not represent the number of connected Cores when using any Redundant Core systems.

Earliest Reported Version: 9.3, and it affects all versions of the LTS Branch.

Version Fixed: This issue is under investigation.
